Mayflower Preschool will distribute only literature which enriches preschool age children and/or is for a nonprofit organization. Petitions or information regarding political issues or for profit organizations will not be circulated at Mayflower Preschool.
- Children are under direct supervision of a teacher at all times.
- classroom doors are kept closed while classes are in session. door alarms or chimes are used at the discretion of the teachers to monitor entering and exiting of the room.
- hallways are monitored by preschool office staff and surveillance equipment.
- children are released only to their parent or other designated persons listed on the Emergency Card or persons otherwise named beforehand by the parent or guardian.
- each child must be signed out at the end of the session by the person picking them up.
- People inquiring about the program should make visitation appointments with the director. They must sign in with the director and obtain a Visitor's Badge before entering the classroom.
- Visitors may observe from behind the one-way glass at any time. Questions or comments about the observation should be discussed with the teachers after class or with the director.
The decision to close school will be at the discretion of the director. If school is in session, attendance will be at the discretion of the parent. School closings will be broadcast locally.
